I recently went to a show at the Univerity of the Arts to catch the Quay Brothers, in town to accept an award for their fabulous film work. After briefly meeting with the identical twins, I took a semi-private tour of the films sets (BEST way to see any art show, thanks Tim!) and was mesmerized by them. Dark and detailed, Gothic in the best sense of the word, I was inspired.
These pieces are the result of that inspiration.
