Update: THis page was original to my KM Digital Design website. I've been working in wire off and on now (a hand injury waylaid me for about a year) for five years. These are some of the first pieces I created, in fact the basket on the bottom left was the very first basket I ever made! The plates are modeled after Early American crafts plates. They were used to serve fruit and often stored hanging on the wall.

In the summer of 2002 had the fortune of experiencing the fun that is an Ellen Weiske wire workshop at Wolf Designs Studio in Portland Maine. Not only was the workshop a blast, Kate and Ellen are some of the most fun people on earth, but I was HOOKED!
